Pascal Schonlau photographs Destroy Lonely for the cover of New Wave magazine.
“For this shoot, I tapped into Destroy Lonely’s full aesthetic—taking cues from his sound, persona, and the gravitational pull he’s had since “NOSTYLIST” turned into a cultural moment. Every set-up was built digitally with stylised scenography and cinematic elements, framing him as both a rising star and an untouchable figure in the spotlight. The gritty textures and earthy tones weren’t just for mood—they were designed to channel his elusive, almost mystical energy, pushing the images past beauty into something more immersive, more otherworldly.”
Pascal worked with Recom Farmhouse in London to create the dark, theatrical scenes. He first shaped the spaces himself in Blender, before finessing them with CGI and Post artists at Recom.
